About our Instructors
Justina is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors degree in Education. She also holds a Honours Bachelors degree in French Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Justina has taken courses in Children Studies and Translation at York University. Justina is a native French speaker who enjoys working in an environment where she can share her passion for the French language, especially with children. She has taught French to various grade levels with the TCDSB while incorporating music and interactive games in her teachings. Justina enjoys connecting with her students in order to turn learning into an enjoyable experience
Leo graduated from McMaster University with Bachelors Degree in Science – Kinesiology. While he was still a student, Leo received a number of Math awards and worked as a math and science tutor. Leo enjoys teaching and is keen on helping students develop to their maximum potential.
Mahtab is a native French speaker who has taught and tutored French for more than 10 years. She has worked with students of all to improve their French proficiency.
Michael is a certified teacher who studied Elementary Education at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation, he taught a Grade Two class in Gallup, New Mexico. Aside from his in-the-classroom experiences, Michael also worked as a camp councilor for a number of summers, and as an Outdoor Educator at a camp near Algonquin Park. Michael is passionate about working with, supporting, and learning from children.
Michelle graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Bio-Medical Science. She has worked as a tutor with children of various ages for over eight years. Michelle believes that there are many paths to success as each student is different in his/her own way. Her teaching philosophy is to first understand how her student learns and then develop a learning strategy to help him/her excel.
Pavithiraa is completing a double major in French and Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. Pavithiraa is an experienced French tutor who is focused on the unique strengths and weaknesses of her students to adapt her teaching strategies to meet their individual needs
Stephen is completing a degree in Education and French at the University of Toronto’s Victoria College. He is a graduate of the Upper Canada College where he completed their full International Baccalaureate program. Stephen is an experienced student-teacher who has taught French Immersion classes as well as worked as a tutor. Stephen enjoys working with students, getting to know their learning habits, and developing a study plan that caters to their needs.
