Our preschool Montessori (CASA) program is targeted for children age 2.5 years to 6 years old.  Our centre adopts the century-old child-centered education method originated by Dr. Maria Montessori that aims to free every young child’s mind to reach his/her full potential.

At Buttonville Montessori School, we believe in Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy of a multi-aged, nurturing and inviting classroom environment equipped with a diverse set of Montessori educational materials and activities which are designed to foster physical, intellectual, creative, social, and personal independence.  Children are encouraged to progress at their own individual level and also learn in a small group setting.  Through the various areas of focus, the child will develop an enjoyment and motivation in learning, build concentration and problem-solving skills, and gain self-discipline and respect for others and the environment.
